The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.
Condition/Concern:
After replacing the amplifier on a vehicle equipped with RPO Y91 you may notice that there is only sound playing from the left front speaker. This may be the result of the amplifier not being SPS programmed.
Recommendation/Instructions:
When an amplifier is replaced on a vehicle equipped with RPO "Y91". The amplifier must be SPS programmed using Tis2Web and the Tech 2.
Please follow this diagnostic or repair process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
