The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.
Condition/Concern:
Some early built, prior to 10/1/06, Oshawa (1 in vin position # 11) 2007 LD Crew Cabs may experience water intrusion in the headliner area. This may be due to an over-torqued grommet in the Center High Mounted Stop Lamp (CHMSL).
Recommendation/Instructions:
To correct, loosen and re-tighten both screws that secure CHMSL to back of cab.
Please follow this diagnostic or repair process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
