Subject:Loss of Power Hesitates on Acceleration

The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.

Condition/Concern:

2.8, 3.5, 4.2, 4.3, 4.8, 5.3, 5.7 and 6.0 engines coupled with the 4L60E or 4L65E may experience a condition of hesitates, misses or loss of power under acceleration. The vehicle may operate as if it is in reduced power mode. There may not be any DTCs associated with this condition.

Recommendation/Instructions:

Duplicate the customers concern and monitor the TFP switch (transmission fluid pressure switch) status and record the readings.
