Preliminary Procedures

1. Remove the front end sheet metal diagonal brace. Refer to Front End Sheet Metal Diagonal Brace Replacement.
2. Remove the upper fan shroud bolts. Refer to Cooling Fan and Shroud Replacement.
3. Remove the upper radiator bolts. Refer to Radiator Replacement.
4. Remove the upper condenser bolts. Refer to Air Conditioning Condenser Replacement.
5. Remove the Charge Air Cooler if equipped. Refer to Charge Air Cooler Replacement
6. Remove The Radiator air baffles.
7. Remove right/left headlamps Headlamp Replacement

Upper Tie Bar Bolts (Qty: 6)

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

Tighten
9 N·m (80 lb in)

Upper Tie Bar Brace Bolts (Qty: 2)

Tighten
25 N·m (18 lb ft)
