For 1990-2009 cars only
- Using a hammer, install the speed selector stop pin if it was removed.
- Install the shift lever.
- Using a hammer, install the 3rd and 4th fork.
- Using a hammer, install the fork retaining bolt on the 3rd and 4th shift lever.
- Using a hammer, install the stop pin on the 3rd and 4th shift lever.
- Install the 1st and 2nd fork.
- Using a hammer, install the fork pin in the 1st and 2nd shift lever. Be careful with the anchor bolt that goes on the bar.
- Using a hammer, install the 1st and 2nd speed stop pin on the shift lever.
- Install the reverse fork.
- Using a hammer, install the fork pin on the 5th speed and reverse shift lever.
