Removal Procedure


    Object Number: 366584  Size: SH
  1. Lower the endgate.
  2. Loosen the endgate handle bolts. Refer to Endgate Handle Replacement .
  3. Raise the endgate.

  4. Object Number: 366585  Size: SH
  5. Remove the handle bezel by prying gently on the upper retainer tabs.
  6. Lower and support the endgate.
  7. Remove the endgate latch assembly. Refer to Endgate Latch Replacement .

  8. Object Number: 352941  Size: SH
  9. Disengage the linkage rod from the latch assembly.

  10. Object Number: 347054  Size: SH
  11. Remove the linkage rod (1) from the endgate handle assembly.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 352941  Size: SH
  1. Install the linkage rod to the endgate handle assembly.

  2. Object Number: 347054  Size: SH
  3. Engage the linkage rod (1) to the latch assembly.
  4. Install the endgate latch assembly. Refer to Endgate Latch Replacement .
  5. Raise the endgate.

  6. Object Number: 366585  Size: SH
  7. Install the endgate handle bezel. Pressing into place until fully seated.

  8. Object Number: 366584  Size: SH

    Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  9. Tighten the endgate handle bolts.
  10. Tighten
    Tighten the handle bolts to 25 N·m (18 lb ft).
