Removal Procedure

  1. Raise and support the window.
  2. Remove the trim panel. Refer to Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement .
  3. Remove the water deflector. Refer to Front Side Door Water Deflector Replacement .
  4. Disconnect the wiring harness from the window motor assembly.
  5. Remove the 2 bolts holding the window to the regulator.

  6. Object Number: 348453  Size: SH
  7. Remove the bolts from the window regulator.
  8. Remove the window regulator assembly from the door folding both sides together.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 348453  Size: SH
  1. Install the regulator to the door.
  2. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  3. Install the bolts to the window regulator.
  4. Tighten
    Tighten the bolts to 9 N·m (80 lb in).

  5. Align the window to the regulator and install the bolts holding the window to the regulator.
  6. Tighten
    Tighten the bolts to 9 N·m (80 lb in).

  7. Connect the wiring harness to the window motor assembly.
  8. Install the water deflector. Refer to Front Side Door Water Deflector Replacement.
  9. Install the trim panel. Refer to Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement.
  10. Lower the window. Inspect the window operation.
