Grille Replacement Uplevel

Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the park/turn signal lamp. Refer to Parking and Turn Signal Lamp Replacement .

  2. Object Number: 775275  Size: SH
  3. Remove the bolts (2) that retain the radiator grille (1) to the radiator support.
  4. Remove the retainers at the top of the radiator grille (1) from the radiator support.
  5. Remove the radiator grille (1) from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 775275  Size: SH
  1. Install the radiator grille (1) to the vehicle.
  2. Align the locating pin and the retainers at the top of the radiator grille (1) with the slots in the radiator support.
  3. Press the retainers into place.

    Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  4. Install the bolts (2) that retain the radiator grille (1) to the radiator support.
  5. Tighten
    Tighten the bolts (2) that retain the radiator grille (1) to the radiator support to 1 N·m (9 lb in).

  6. Install the park/turn signal lamp. Refer to Parking and Turn Signal Lamp Replacement .

Grille Replacement Base

Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the park/turn signal lamp. Refer to Parking and Turn Signal Lamp Replacement .

  2. Object Number: 775270  Size: SH
  3. Remove the bolts (1,3) that retain the radiator grille (2) to the radiator support.
  4. Remove the retainers at the top of the radiator grille from the radiator support.
  5. Pull the grille outward in order to release the lower retainers.
  6. Remove the radiator grille (1) from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 775270  Size: SH
  1. Position the radiator grille (1) to the vehicle.
  2. Align the lower grille assembly retainers.
  3. Push inward in order to secure the lower grille.
  4. Align the locating pin and the retainers at the top of the radiator grille (2) with the slots in the radiator support.
  5. Press the retainers into place.

    Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  6. Install the bolts (1,3) that retain the radiator grille (2) to the radiator support.
  7. Tighten
    Tighten to 1 N·m (9 lb in).

  8. Install the park/turn signal lamp. Refer to Parking and Turn Signal Lamp Replacement .
