  1. Remove the bulb from the left taillamp connector.
  2. Connect a J 39200 DMM between the left taillamp connector, cavity G for CKT 150 (BLK), and ground.

Is continuity present?

Repair the open in CKT 150 (BLK) between the left taillamp connector and ground G400.

Is the left taillamp operative?

  1. Connect an unpowered test lamp between the left taillamp connector, cavity A for CKT 17 (WHT), and ground.
  2. Depress the brake pedal.

Does the test lamp light?

--

Replace the left taillamp bulb.

Repair the open in CKT 17 (WHT) between splice S410 and the left taillamp connector.

  1. Remove the bulb from the right taillamp connector.
  2. Connect a J 39200 DMM between the right taillamp connector, cavity G for CKT 250 (BLK), and ground.

Is continuity present?

Repair the open in CKT 250 (BLK) between the right taillamp connector and ground G401.

Is the right taillamp operative?

  1. Connect an unpowered test lamp between the right taillamp connector, cavity A for CKT 17 (WHT), and ground.
  2. Depress the brake pedal.

Does the test lamp light?
