Preliminary Inspection
Before you begin a diagnosis, visually inspect for the following conditions
and repair if needed:
| • | Verify that the fuse is not open. Refer to the appropriate
diagnostic procedure. |
| • | Verify that the electrical system has no bare, broken, or disconnected
wires. |
| • | Verify that the cruise control cable is not binding. |
| • | Verify that the cruise control cable is adjusted properly. |
| • | Verify that the stoplamp switch is not damaged. |
| • | Verify that the stoplamp switch is positioned properly. |
