  1. Disconnect the front auxiliary HVAC control module connector.
  2. Place the ignition switch in the RUN position.
  3. Connect an unpowered test lamp between the front HVAC control module connector cavity G, for CKT 341 (BRN), and ground.

Did the test lamp light?

  1. Disconnect the rear auxiliary temperature valve assembly connector.
  2. Connect an unpowered test lamp between connector cavity 10 of the rear auxiliary temperature valve assembly for CKT 341 (BRN) and ground.

Did the test lamp light?

Connect an ohmmeter between the rear auxiliary temperature valve assembly connector cavity 10, for CKT 150 (BLK) and ground.

Does the circuit have continuity?

  1. Ensure all fuses are in good condition.
  2. Ensure all grounds are clean and tight.
  3. Place the ignition switch in the RUN position.
  4. Disconnect the front auxiliary HVAC control module connector.
  5. Connect an unpowered test lamp between the front auxiliary HVAC control module connector, cavity G for CKT 341 (BRN) and ground.

Does the test lamp light?

  1. Disconnect the rear auxiliary temperature valve assembly connector.
  2. Connet an unpowered test lamp between the rear auxiliary temperature valve connector, cavity 10, for CKT 341 (BRN) and ground.

Connect an ohmmeter between the rear auxiliary temperature valve connector, cavity 7 for CKT 150 (BLK), and ground.

  1. Reconnect the front auxiliary HVAC control module connector.
  2. Disconnect the heater and A/C control logic module connector.
  3. Connect a voltmeter between the heater and A/C control logic connector, cavity A for CKT 734 (DK GRN), and ground.
  4. While you monitor voltage, adjust the position of the temperature control knob.

Is voltage present and does it vary?

  1. Disconnect the front auxiliary HVAC control module connector.
  2. Connect an unpowered test lamp between the front auxiliary control module connector, cavity H for CKT 734 (DK GRN), and ground.

Connect an ohmmeter between the front auxiliary HVAC control module connector, cavity H for CKT 734 (DK GRN), and ground.

Connect an ohmmeter between the front auxiliary control module connector, cavity H, and the heater and A/C control logic module connector, cavity A for CKT 734 (DK GRN).

  1. Connect a voltmeter between the heater and A/C control logic module connector, cavity E for CKT 733 (LT BLU), and ground.
  2. While you monitor voltage, adjust the position of the vent mode knob.

  2. Connect an unpowered test lamp between the front auxiliary HVAC control module connector, cavity J for CKT 733 (LT BLU), and ground.

  2. Disconnect the heater and A/C control logic module connector.
  3. connect an unpowered test lamp between the heater and A/C control logic module connector, cavity J for CKT 341 (BRN) and ground.

  1. Place the front auxiliary HVAC control module blower motor switch in the REAR CNTL position.
  2. Connect an ohmmeter between the heater and HVAC control logic module connector, cavity M for CKT 203 (LT BLU) and ground.

  1. Disconnect the front auxiliary HVAC control module connector.
  2. Connect an ohmmeter between the front auxiliary HVAC control module connector, cavity F and the heater and A/C control logic module connector, cavity M for CKT 203 (LT BLU).

  1. Disconnect the rear auxiliary HVAC control module connector.
  2. Connect an unpowered test light between therear auxiliary HVAC control module connector, cavity G for CKT 341 (BRN), and ground.

  1. Reconnect the rear auxiliary HVAC control module connector.
  2. Connect a voltmeter between the heater and A/C control logic module connector, cavity C for CKT 734 (DK GRN), and ground.
