Disassembly Procedure
  1. Remove the upper and lower shrouds. Refer to Trim Covers, Shift Lever Seal - Disassemble - Off Vehicle .

    2. Object Number: 322946 Size: SH
  2. Remove the wire harness straps (2) from the steering column and the wire harness assembly (1).

    3. Object Number: 415294 Size: SH
  3. Remove the retaining ring (3) from the steering shaft assembly by using snap ring pliers.
  4. Remove the inflatable restraint steering wheel module coil assembly (2) from the steering shaft assembly.
  5. Remove the wave washer (1) from the steering shaft assembly.
