Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the IP assembly. Refer to Instrument Panel Assembly Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gages and Console.
  2. Remove the vacuum hose from the mode actuator.
  3. Slide the actuator off the mounting bracket in order to remove the actuator.
  4. Rotate the actuator (2) so that the actuator linkage slips off the post on the mode door linkage.

  5. Remove the actuator linkage from the mode door linkage.

Installation Procedure
  1. Rotate the actuator so that the actuator linkage slips over the post on the mode door linkage.

    2. Object Number: 499351 Size: SH
  2. Install the actuator linkage to the mode door linkage.
  3. Slide the actuator (2) onto the mounting bracket in order to install the actuator.

    4. Firmly press the actuator into place in order to fully seat the fastener.

  4. Install the vacuum hose to the mode actuator.
  5. Install the IP assembly. Refer to Instrument Panel Assembly Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gages and Console.
