Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the right knee bolster. Refer to Passenger Knee Bolster Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gages and Console.
  2. Remove the right cowl trim panel. Refer to Cowl Side Trim Panel Replacement in Interior Trim.
  3. Disconnect the vacuum hose from the defrost actuator.
  4. Depress the retaining clip and remove the defrost actuator from the air distribution housing.

Installation Procedure
  1. Install the defrost actuator to the air distribution housing.
  2. Connect the vacuum hose to the defrost actuator.
  3. Install the right cowl trim panel. Refer to Cowl Side Trim Panel Replacement in Interior Trim.
  4. Install the right knee bolster. Refer to Passenger Knee Bolster Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gages and Console.
