Did you perform the Outside Mirrors System Check?

Go to Step 2

Go to Outside Mirrors System Check

1. Disconnect the LH Outside Rearview Power Mirror.
2. Connect a test lampJ 35616-200 from CKT 1496 (YEL) cavity C at the LH Outside Rearview Power Mirror to ground.
3. Move the Selector Switch to the Left position.
4. Press the Outside Rearview Mirror Remote Control Switch to the Up position.

Does the test lamp light?

Go to Step 3

Go to Step 5

1. Connect a test lampJ 35616-200 from CKT 1496 (YEL) cavity C to CKT 89 (LT GRN) cavity D at the LH Outside Rearview Mirror.
2. Press the Outside Rearview Mirror Remote Control Switch to the Up position.

Does the test lamp light?

Go to Step 4

Go to Step 6

Replace the LH Outside Rearview Power Mirror. Refer to Outside Rearview Mirror Replacement .

Is the repair complete?

--

Go to Outside Mirrors System Check

--

Repair open in CKT 1496 (YEL) between the LH Outside Rearview Power Mirror and S501.

Is the repair complete?

--

Go to Outside Mirrors System Check

Replace the Outside Rearview Mirror Remote Control Switch. Refer to Power Accessory Switch Panel Replacement .
