A scan tool can connect to the data link connector (DLC). The connection allows the scan tool to communicate with the following components:
| • | The vehicle control module |
| • | The passlock/electronic variable orifice module |
| • | The inflatable restraint sensing diagnostic module |
| • | The electronic brake control module |
You can then monitor the system operations for the diagnostic purposes.
