Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the fan shroud assembly.
    2. • Refer to Engine Coolant Fan Upper Shroud Replacement in Engine Cooling.
    • Refer to Engine Coolant Fan Lower Shroud Replacement in Engine Cooling.
  2. Remove the drive belt. Refer to Drive Belt Replacement .
  3. Remove the crankshaft balancer. Refer to Crankshaft Balancer Removal in Engine Unit Repair.
  4. Clean and inspect all parts. Refer to Crankshaft Balancer Cleaning and Inspection in Engine Unit Repair.

Installation Procedure
  1. Apply a small amount of grease to the crankshaft front cover oil seal sealing surface if reusing the seal.
  2. Install the crankshaft balancer. Refer to Crankshaft Balancer Installation in Engine Unit Repair.
  3. Install the drive belt. Refer to Drive Belt Replacement .
  4. Install the fan shroud assembly.
    5. • Refer to Engine Coolant Fan Upper Shroud Replacement in Engine Cooling.
    • Refer to Engine Coolant Fan Lower Shroud Replacement in Engine Cooling.
