The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.
Condition/Concern:
Dealers may comment that when replacing the window regulator motor, the service part (P/N 88959443) does not fit properly.
Recommendation/Instructions:
The new part number for the redesigned regulator motor for 1985 through 2001 is 88960088. Part number 88960088 will not work on a 2002 and 2003. A complete regulator and motor assembly along with a wiring harness is required for 2002 and 2003.

Note: If the power window operates in the opposite direction of the switch after installing wiring harness 88961505, it will be necessary to swap the DK BLU and BRN wires in one end of the new wiring harness 88961505.
Please follow this diagnostic or repair process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
