Field Product Reminder Bulletin

General Motors has decided to discontinue the Field Product Reminder Bulletin regularly sent to your dealership. The final Field Product Reminder bulletin was issued on Tuesday, March 21, 2006. Due to favorable dealer participation in reaching the "ONE computer for every TWO Technicians" goal, it has been decided that technicians now have adequate exposure to this information via electronic delivery. In addition, the information in SI is updated on a daily basis.

SI -- Latest News

With the absence of the FPR bulletin, increased use of the Latest News section of SI is encouraged. This "clickable" section in SI can be used to see the latest service information available by division within a specific release period. You may sort to see the latest information for a 1, 2, 4, 6, or 8 week period.

Printed Bulletin Subscriptions (U.S. Only) -- Update Now!

Paper versions of GM Service Bulletins continue to be available to your dealership on a subscription basis. With a subscription, this vital service information is sent to your dealer each week in your DWD box. Paper copies of bulletins in the quantity of your choice are an easy and useful tool that affords several important benefits:

    • Printed bulletins are an easy way to keep you up-to-date on the latest service concerns. As a service, parts, body shop, or sales manager they allow you to stay in touch with service, and point of delivery items that currently are of importance. They can be great aids in weekly meetings to focus on service issues and see that all technicians as well as sales personnel are kept informed.
    • Printed bulletins are a "push" media as opposed to a "pull" format. With hard copies of bulletins in hand there is no effort required on the part of the reader to search for information. They lend importance to a service concern and are presented in a familiar, comfortable format, with clear professionally printed illustrations and dark readable text.
    • Printed bulletins are perfect for distribution to areas of the dealership that do not have easy SI access but would benefit from knowledge of the latest service information. These may include, but not be limited to the new car prep area, the body shop, the warranty administration department, the sales floor, and the parts counter.
