This bulletin is being revised to add the 2007 model year. Please discard Corporate Bulletin Number 05-00-90-007 (Section 00 -- General Information).
In order to minimize water/moisture intrusion, Isuzu recommends applying Dielectric lubricant into exterior harness connectors.
After any inspection or repair to a harness connector, you should apply this lubricant to aid in preventing possible future corrosion to the connector pins and terminals.
This step is only recommended for engine and chassis harness connectors that are directly exposed to the outside environment. Connectors located inside the passenger compartment do not require this added protection.
