NEW ONE PIECE OIL PAN GASKET FOR 1985 TRUCK W/ 4.3L ENGINE

VEHICLES AFFECTED: All 1985 C, K, G, & M Models Equipped with The 4.3L V6 Engine ------------------------------------------

1985 C, K, G, & M model trucks equipped with the 4.3L V6 engine and built after July 1, 1985, has a new one-piece oil pan gasket that replaces the four-piece gasket previously used. This new one-piece gasket, P/N 14081222, offers improved oil pan sealing and can be used on all 1985 4.3L engines.

If the oil pan is removed for any reason, the one-piece gasket should be used when reinstalling the oil pan.
