DIESEL TPS SETTING SERV.SPECS IMPROVE PERFORMANCE

SETTING OF THE THROTTLE POSITION SWITCH (TPS) ON 6.2L DIESEL LH6 ENGINES (L.D.), MUST BE CORRECT TO ASSURE PROPER ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION OPERATION. CHART (1) DISPLAYS THE SETTINGS TO USE FOR THE VARIOUS NATIONWIDE/ FEDERAL/CALIF., ENGINE TRANSMISSION CONFIGURATIONS. LOCATE THE PART NUMBER ON THE FACE OF THE SWITCH. REFER TO THE CHART COLUMN LISTING THAT PART NUMBER. USING THE OTHER VEHICLE PARAMETERS LISTED, A GAGE BAR SETTING CAN BE DETERMINED.
