Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 1602984 Size: SH
  1. Loosen the outlet duct clamps at the air cleaner assembly and the turbocharger.
  2. Remove the air cleaner outlet duct.

Installation Procedure

    Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 1602984 Size: SH

    Important: The air cleaner outlet duct must be fully seated against the positive stop feature on the turbocharger inlet.

  1. Install the air cleaner outlet duct.
  2. Tighten the outlet duct clamps at the turbocharger and the air cleaner assembly.

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the clamps to 4 N·m (35 lb in).
