When the synchronizer assemblies are installed on the mainshaft, all of the grooved side of the sleeves will align to the rear of the transmission.

5th/Reverse Synchronizer Assemble


    Object Number: 4732  Size: SH
  1. Install the synchronizer inserts, the springs, and the balls in the hub.
  2. Push the ball in with a screwdriver.

  3. Object Number: 760942  Size: SH
  4. Install the sleeve to hold the ball in place.
  5. Important: Assemble the 5th/reverse synchronizer sleeve to the synchronizer hub, with the groove on the sleeve aligning opposite to the mark on the hub.

  6. Position the sleeve in the neutral position when all the balls are installed in order to hold the shift balls and springs in place.
  7. Install the correct blocking rings on to the synchronizer hub.

1st/2nd Synchronizer Assemble


    Object Number: 4732  Size: SH
  1. Install the synchronizer inserts, the springs, and the balls in the hub.
  2. Important: Assemble the 1st/2nd synchronizer sleeve to the synchronizer hub, with the groove on the sleeve aligning to the same side to the mark on the hub.

  3. Push the ball in with a screwdriver and slide the sleeve to hold the ball in place.
  4. Position the sleeve in the neutral position when all the balls are installed in order to hold the shift balls and springs in place.

  5. Object Number: 648053  Size: SH
  6. Install the following synchronizer rings to the synchronizer hub:
  7. • The blocker ring
    • The center ring
    • The inner ring

3rd/4th Synchronizer Assemble


    Object Number: 4732  Size: SH
  1. Install the synchronizer inserts, the springs, and the balls in the hub.
  2. Important: Assemble the 3rd/4th synchronizer sleeve to the synchronizer hub, with the groove on the sleeve aligning to the same side to the mark on the hub.

  3. Push the ball in with a screwdriver and slide the sleeve to hold the ball in place
  4. Position the sleeve in the neutral position when all the balls are installed in order to hold the shift balls and springs in place.
  5. Install the correct blocking rings on to the synchronizer hub.
