Important: Review the Selectable Ride Description and Operation in order to familiarize yourself with the system functions. Refer to Selectable Ride Description and Operation .

Visual/Physical Inspection

    • Inspect for aftermarket devices which could affect the operation of the Selectable Ride System. Refer to Checking Aftermarket Accessories in Wiring Systems.
    • Inspect the easily accessible or visible system components for obvious damage or conditions which could cause the symptom.
    • Inspect the SEO IGN fuse. If the fuse is open, locate the source of the overload and repair. Replace the fuse. Refer to Testing for Short to Ground in Wiring Systems.
    • Inspect grounds for front and rear shocks to be clean and tight.
    • Inspect all inline connectors and the connectors at the shocks to be properly seated and free of corrosion.

Intermittent

Faulty electrical connections or wiring may be the cause of intermittent conditions. Refer to Testing for Intermittent Conditions and Poor Connections in Wiring Systems.

Symptom List

Refer to a symptom diagnostic procedure from the following list in order to diagnose the symptom:

    •  Selectable Ride Indicator Always On
    •  Selectable Ride Indicator Inoperative
    •  Ride Does Not Change When Switched (ON - OFF)
    •  One Shock Does Not Operate
