Removal Procedure


    Object Number: 363709  Size: SH
  1. Move the seat to the full forward position and remove the front seat adjuster bolt insulator (3), if equipped.
  2. Remove the seat retaining rear bolts (1).
  3. Move the seat to the full rearward position in order to remove the seat retaining front nuts (2).
  4. Disconnect the electrical harness, if equipped.
  5. Remove the seat from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure

  1. Position the seat in the vehicle.
  2. Connect the electrical harness, if equipped.
  3. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  4. Move the seat to the full forward position in order to install the seat retaining rear bolts (1).
  5. Tighten
    Tighten the retaining rear bolts to 55 N·m (41 lb ft).

  6. Install the front seat adjuster bolt insulator (3), if equipped.
  7. Move the seat to the full rearward position and install the seat retaining front nuts (2).
  8. Tighten
    Tighten the nuts to 55 N·m (41 lb ft).
