ELEC. DOOR LOCK SWITCH 2 DIFF. TYPE OF CLIP P/N'S

VEHICLES AFFECTED: 1985-86 'B-C-D-G AND K' CARS AND 'C-K-G 1,2,3 TRUCKS WITH ELECTRIC DOOR LOCKS

Some electric door lock switches may become separated while installed in the vehicle. This condition may be reported on either the right or left or both doors. Two different type clips have been released to correct this condition. Clips should be added to both door lock switches even if only one is reported as separated.

For Switches, P/N 3080944 For Switches, P/N 20209091 Use Clip, P/N 16602550 For Switches, P/N 20043224 For Switches, P/N 3078509 Use Clip, P/N 16602549

To install clips:

1. Remove switch assembly as described in the body Service Manual.

2. If switch has become separated, inspect for damage, if no damage is found reassemble switch and add two clips as indicated on Illusti'ation.

3. If switch is separated and damaga,d, replace complete switch assembly and add clips as indicated on Illustration.

Use applicable Labor Operation Number and Time.
