Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 729651 Size: SH
  1. Remove the air cleaner intake duct (4). Refer to Air Cleaner Assembly Replacement .
  2. Disconnect the mass airflow/intake air temperature (MAF/IAT) sensor electrical connector (2). Refer to Mass Airflow Sensor/Intake Air Temperature Sensor Replacement .

    3. Object Number: 729652 Size: SH
  3. Grasp the air filter assembly (1) and pull the assembly retaining pins (2) away from the retaining grommets (3) and remove the assembly.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 729652 Size: SH
  1. Line up the retaining pins (2) with the grommets in the mounting bracket (3).
  2. Install the air cleaner assembly until the air cleaner is seated fully on the mounts and is up against the fender apron.

    3. Object Number: 729651 Size: SH
  3. Install the air cleaner intake duct.
  4. Connect the MAF/IAT sensor electrical connector (2).
