  1. Remove the inoperative power seat switch from side of seat.
  2. Connect a test lamp between CKT 1440 (ORN) cavity H and ground.

Does the test lamp light?

  1. Locate and repair the open in CKT 1440 (ORN) between the inoperative power switch and the seat circuit breaker (located in the left bussed electrical center).
  2. If no open is found, test the seat circuit breaker for proper operation refer to Circuit Protection - Circuit Breakers and Testing for Short to Ground in wiring systems.

Is the repair complete?

Connect a test lamp between CKT 2350 (BLK) cavity A (driver seat) or B (passenger seat) to battery positive voltage.

Does the test lamp light?

--

Go to Step 5

Go to Step 4

Locate and repair open in CKT 2350 (BLK) cavity E (driver seat) or E(passenger seat) and ground G304.

Is the repair complete?

--

Go to Power Seats System Check

--

Replace the inoperative power seat switch. If the switch is OK, replace the inoperative motor(s) and wiring harness.
