DEFINITION: This diagnostic table should only be used if the LH mirror moves left to right but will not move up and down.

1. Disconnect the left power outside mirror connector.
2. Position the selector switch to the LH power mirror.
3. Connect a test lamp between CKT 89 (LT GRN) cavity D and ground.
4. Press the switch to the down position.

Does the test lamp light?

Go to Step 2

Go to Step 3

Replace the vertical power mirror motor. Refer to Outside Rearview Mirror Replacement in Doors.

Is the repair complete?

System OK

--

1. Locate and repair open in CKT 89 (LT GRN) between the LH outside power mirror and the power mirror switch.
2. If there is no open, replace the power mirror switch. Refer to Power Accessory Switch Panel Replacement .
