Was the instrument panel cluster (IPC) system check performed?

Go to Step 2

Go to Instrument Cluster System Check .

1. Turn the ignition switch to the OFF position.
2. Disconnect the low washer switch connector.
3. Turn the ignition switch ON.
4. With the scan tool select the Instrument Panel Cluster, Data Display, Outputs and monitor the Low Washer Fluid value.

Does the Low Washer Fluid display the specified value?

OFF

Go to Step 5

Go to Step 3

1. Disconnect the cluster connector.
2. Connect a test light to between B+ and the BLK/WHT (174) wire cavity A.

Does the test lamp light?

Go to Step 4

Go to Step 6

Locate and repair the short to ground in the BLK/WHT (174) wire between the cluster and low washer switch.

Is the repair complete?

Go to Instrument Cluster System Check

Replace the low washer switch.

Is the repair complete?

--

Go to Instrument Cluster System Check

Replace the instrument cluster . Refer to Instrument Cluster Replacement .
