Was the instrument panel cluster (IPC) system check performed?

Go to Step 2

Go to Instrument Cluster System Check .

  1. Turn the ignition switch to the OFF position.
  2. Disconnect the low washer switch connector.
  3. Turn the ignition switch to the RUN position.
  4. With a DMM measure the voltage between the BLK WHT (174) wire cavity A and ground.

Does the DMM display battery voltage?

9-16 volts

Go to Step 3

With a DMM, measure voltage between the BLK/WHT (174) wire cavity A and BLK (150) wire cavity B.

Does the DMM display battery voltage?

9-16 volts

Go to Step 6

Backprobe the cluster connector with a DMM and measure voltage between the BLK/WHT (174) wire cavity B12 and ground.

Does the DMM display battery voltage?

9-16 volts

Go to Step 5

Go to Step 8

Locate and repair the open BLK/WHT (174) wire between the cluster and low washer switch.

Is the repair complete?

Replace the low washer switch.

Is the repair complete?

Locate and repair the open BLK (150) wire between the low washer switch and G100.

Is the repair complete?
