This PI was superseded to include information about a revised ECM calibration to address this concern. Please discard PIP4361.


The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.

Condition/Concern:

On rare occasions, an intermittent SES light may be experienced due to a P0411 DTC.

Recommendation/Instructions:

If the SI diagnostics do not isolate a cause for this concern, reprogram the ECM with the latest TIS2Web calibrations and evaluate the concern. At this time, the latest calibration is titled "New calibration with diagnostic enhancements for DTC P0411." This calibration, or any that follow, is designed to address this concern.

Please follow this diagnostic or repair process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
