  1. Turn OFF the ignition.
  2. Operate the adjustable pedal switch in both directions.

Do the adjustable pedals operate in both directions?

  1. Turn ON the ignition, with the transmission selector in PARK.
  2. Operate the adjustable pedal switch in both directions.

Do the adjustable pedals operate in both directions?

  1. Disconnect the adjustable pedal motor connector.
  2. Connect a test lamp between the motor control circuit terminals in the harness connector.
  3. Operate the adjustable pedal switch in both directions.

Does the test lamp illuminate when the switch is operated in both directions?

  1. Disconnect the adjustable pedal relay.
  2. Connect a test lamp from the battery voltage supply circuit terminal in the harness connector to ground.

Does the test lamp illuminate?

Connect a test lamp from the battery voltage supply circuit terminal to the ground circuit terminal in the adjustable pedal relay harness connector.

Does the test lamp illuminate?

Connect a test lamp from each of the adjustable pedal switch signal circuit terminals in the adjustable pedal relay harness connector to ground while operating the switch in the appropriate directions.

Does the test lamp illuminate on each signal circuit while activated?

  1. Disconnect the adjustable pedal switch.
  2. Connect a test lamp from the voltage supply circuit terminal in the harness connector to ground.

  1. Disconnect the adjustable pedal power relay.
  2. Connect a test lamp from the battery voltage supply circuit terminal in the bussed electrical center (BEC) to ground.

  2. Connect a test lamp from the ignition voltage supply circuit terminal in the BEC to ground.
