Power is supplied to the headlamp switch and park lamp relay at all times through CKT 240 (ORN). When the headlamp switch is placed in the HEAD or PARK position, current flows to the dimmer control portion of the headlamp switch. When the headlamp switch is in the AUTO position, current flows to the dimmer control portion of the headlamp switch via CKT 74 (LT BLU) from the park lamp relay when the relay is energized by the body control module (BCM). The dimmer control regulates the amount of voltage sent through CKT 44 (DK GRN) to the ILLUM fuse 12 and the STR WHL fuse 6 in the IP fuse block in order to control the intensity of the interior lights. For steering wheel controls illumination, current flows from the STR WHL fuse 6 through CKT 1244 (BRN) to C210 terminal B and out of terminal B through CKT 949 (GRY) in order to illuminate the steering wheel controls. Ground is provided for the steering wheel controls illumination through CKT 152 (BLK) to C210 terminal D and out of terminal D to CKT 1850 (BLK) to G200. From the ILLUM fuse 12, current flows through CKT 1220 (GRY) to the illuminate the following components:

    • The HVAC control panel
    • The defog switch
    • The fog lamp switch
    • The supplemental inflatable restraint module switch
    • The transfer case switch
    • The rear wiper/washer and endgate/liftgate window release switch (utility)
    • The radio
    • The IP cluster
    • The automatic transmission indicator lamp (utility)
    • The automatic transmission preference switch (utility)

CKT 1220 also supplies a dimming input to the BCM and the driver information display module (utility). The automatic transmission indicator lamp (utility) and the automatic transmission preference switch (utility) are grounded through CKT 1850 (BLK) to G200. All of the other lamps are grounded through CKT 1050 (BLK) to G203.
