The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.
Condition/Concern:
Some customers may comment that the Service Stability and Red Brake warning lamps are illuminated. A Technician may scan the EBCM for DTC's and find none stored. These indicators with no DTC's stored, may be the result of low fluid in the brake master
cylinder reservoir.
Recommendation/Instructions:
Using the Tech 2, build as... Chassis > EBCM > Data Display > VSES. The tech 2 will display OK or Low for this parameter. Monitor the Diff.Pressure/Fluid Level parameter. If the value is low, follow SI Document ID 1923428.
Please follow this diagnostic or repair process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
