  1. The liftgate module (LGM) must be programmed with the proper RPO configurations. The LGM stores the information regarding the vehicle options. If the LGM is not properly configured with the correct RPO codes the LGM will not control the features properly. Ensure that the following conditions exist in order to prepare for the LGM programming:
  2. • The battery is fully charged.
    • The ignition switch is in the RUN position.
    • The DLC is accessible.
  3. Follow the instructions on the Techline Terminal and scan tool to program the LGM.
  4. If the LGM fails to accept the program, perform the following steps:
  5. • Inspect all LGM connections.
    • Verify that the Techline Terminal and scan tool have the latest software version.

If the Liftgate module (LGM) has been replaced, you must also reprogram the key Fobs. Refer to Transmitter Programming
