Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the right closeout/insulator panel. Refer to Instrument Panel Insulator Panel Replacement - Right Side in Interior Trim.
  2. Remove the I/P storage compartment door. Refer to Instrument Panel Compartment Door Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gages and Console.

  3. Object Number: 759898  Size: SH
  4. Disconnect the blower motor electrical connector.
  5. Remove the blower motor mounting screws.
  6. Remove the blower motor cooling tube.
  7. Remove the blower motor (2).

Installation Procedure

  1. Install the blower motor (2).
  2. Install the blower motor cooling tube.
  3. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  4. Install the blower motor mounting screws.
  5. Tighten
    Tighten the screws to 2 N·m (18 lb in).

  6. Connect the blower motor electrical connector.
  7. Install the right closeout/insulator panel. Refer to Instrument Panel Insulator Panel Replacement - Right Side in Interior Trim.
