Rear Seat Replacement TrailBlazer EXT, Envoy XL, Envoy XUV

Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the communication interface module if removing the right-hand rear seat. Refer to Communication Interface Module Replacement in Cellular Communications.

  2. Object Number: 827901  Size: SH
  3. Remove the front 2 rear seat mounting nuts (2) securing the seat to the vehicle.
  4. Fold the seat to the stowed position.
  5. Remove the rear 2 rear seat mounting nuts (2) securing the seat to the vehicle.
  6. Remove the seat from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 827901  Size: SH
  1. Position the seat onto the floor studs. The seat should be in the folded position.
  2. Install the 2 rear nuts (2). Do not tighten the nuts.
  3. Unfold the seat to ensure that the seat latch (1) properly engages the latch bar (3) on the floor.
  4. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  5. Install the front 2 rear seat mounting nuts (2).
  6. Tighten
    Tighten the front rear seat mounting nuts to 45 N·m (33 lb ft).

  7. Fold the seat to the stowed position.
  8. Tighten the 2 rear seat mounting nuts (2).
  9. Tighten
    Tighten the rear seat mounting nuts to 45 N·m (33 lb ft).

  10. Install the communication interface module if installing the right-hand rear seat. Refer to Communication Interface Module Replacement in Cellular Communications.
