  1. Apply sealant GM P/N 12346004 (Canadian P/N 10953480) or equivalent to the heater outlet hose fitting threads.

    2. Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

  2. Install the heater outlet hose fitting and tighten to 45 N·m (33 lb ft).
