Removal Procedure


    Object Number: 1201502  Size: SH
  1. Remove the wheel and tire assembly. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation.
  2. Remove the engine shield, if equipped. Refer to Engine Protection Shield Replacement.
  3. Remove the lower intermediate steering shaft. Refer to Lower Intermediate Steering Shaft Replacement.
  4. Support the engine using a jack stand and a block of wood.
  5. Remove the engine mount-to-frame bracket through bolt for the mount being replaced.
  6. Loosen the right side through bolt.
  7. Remove the heater pipe bracket bolt from the engine mount. Refer to Heater Outlet Hose Replacement.
  8. Raise the engine using the jack stand; the engine will tilt to one side.

  9. Object Number: 1201372  Size: SH
  10. Remove the engine mount bolts.
  11. Remove the engine mount. You will need to articulate the mount in order to remove the mount.

Installation Procedure

    Note: You will need to articulate the mount in order to install the mount.

  1. Install the engine mount.

  2. Object Number: 1201372  Size: SH
  3. Install the engine mount bolts.
  4. Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 1273486  Size: SH
  5. To aid in the installation of the bolts, start a bolt in position (1) first. Tighten the bolts to 50 N·m (37 lb ft).
  6. Lower the engine.

  7. Object Number: 1201502  Size: SH
  8. Install the engine mount-to-frame bracket through bolt and tighten to 85 N·m (63 lb ft).
  9. Install the engine coolant pipe bracket bolt from the engine mount. Refer to Heater Outlet Hose Replacement.
  10. Remove the jack stand.
  11. Install the lower intermediate steering shaft. Refer to Lower Intermediate Steering Shaft Replacement.
  12. Install the engine shield, if equipped. Refer to Engine Protection Shield Replacement.
  13. Install the wheel and tire assembly. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation.
