Engine Coolant Fan Shroud Replacement LLV, LLR

Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the radiator hose-outlet. Refer to Radiator Outlet Hose Replacement .

    2. Object Number: 801107 Size: SH
  2. Release the differential vent hose retainer.
  3. Release the A/C suction hose retainer.
  4. Release the A/C discharge hose retainer.
  5. Rotate the slip ring counterclockwise from under the fan shroud.
  6. Remove the fan shroud (3).

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 801107 Size: SH
  1. Install the fan shroud (3) to the vehicle.
  2. Rotate the slip ring to the original position.
  3. Install the differential vent hose retainer.
  4. Install the A/C suction hose retainer.
  5. Install the A/C discharge hose retainer.
  6. Install the radiator hose-outlet. Refer to Radiator Outlet Hose Replacement .

Preliminary Procedure

  1. Drain the cooling system. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling .
  2. Remove the air cleaner assembly. Refer to Air Cleaner Assembly Replacement .
  3. Unclip the lower section of the shroud assembly from the upper shroud for removal.
  4. Remove the radiator inlet hose. Refer to Radiator Inlet Hose Replacement .
  5. Remove the radiator outlet hose retainers.
  6. Remove the a/c line retainers and reposition.
