All operations having a labor operation number are classified as Major Operations. A major operation will have a ST (straight time ), averaged time or time studied time associated with it.

Operations within each section are generally arranged in the following manner -- Front to Rear, Top to Bottom, Right to Left. Sitting in the Driver's seat, things are Right-Hand components are to the Driver's Right, Left-Hand to the Driver's Left. Right and Left-Hand components on a traverse mounted powertrain are determined in the same manner as above only by standing at the left front fender and facing the engine.
