The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.

Condition/Concern:

Engineering is investigating the above listed vehicles with the above listed manual transmissions.

  1. Leak concerns (i.e. input seal, output rear extension seal[mldr ])
  2. Noise concerns - Whine, Rattle or Growl
  3. Shift concerns - 4th gear, 5th gear or Shift lever issues

Recommendation/Instructions:

If your dealer receives one of the above listed vehicle in your dealer with one of the above listed concerns please contact engineering at the following number.

If engineering does not respond within 48 hours proceed with any necessary repairs.

Please follow this diagnostic or repair process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
