Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the seat from the vehicle. Refer to Split Bench Seat Replacement or Front Seat Replacement - Bucket .
  2. Remove the seat cushion outer trim panel from the seat assembly. Refer to Seat Cushion Outer Trim Panel Replacement .

  3. Object Number: 1333643  Size: SH
  4. Remove the 3 screws (2) that retain the switch bezel (1) to the seat.
  5. Unhook the seat cushion cover J-strip from the top of the bezel.
  6. Remove the switch bezel from the seat by pulling out to release the retaining clips.
  7. Remove the seat switch from the switch bezel by releasing the retaining tabs. Refer to Power Seat Switch Replacement .
  8. Remove the lumbar switch from the switch bezel by releasing the retaining tabs. Refer to Lumbar Switch Replacement .

Installation Procedure

  1. Install the lumbar switch to the switch bezel, verifying that the retaining tabs are fully seated. Refer to Lumbar Switch Replacement .
  2. Install the seat switch to the switch bezel, verifying that the retaining tabs are fully seated. Refer to Power Seat Switch Replacement .
  3. Hook the seat cushion cover J-strip to the top of the bezel.
  4. Position the bezel on the seat and press down to engage the retaining clips.

    Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  6. Install the switch bezel (1) to the seat with the 3 screws (2).
  7. Tighten
    Tighten the seat switch bezel screws to 1.5 N·m (13 lb in).

  8. Install the seat cushion outer trim panel to the seat assembly. Refer to Seat Cushion Outer Trim Panel Replacement .
  9. Install the seat in the vehicle. Refer to Split Bench Seat Replacement or Front Seat Replacement - Bucket .
