Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the drive belt. Refer to Drive Belt Replacement .

    2. Object Number: 1350738 Size: SH
  2. Remove the bolt (3) securing the A/C compressor hose/pipe bracket (2) to the engine lift bracket (1).
  3. Carefully disengage the engine wiring harness conduit (4) from the engine lift bracket (1).

    4. Object Number: 1313647 Size: SH
  4. Remove the 3 generator mounting bolts.

    5. Object Number: 858182 Size: SH
  5. Remove the bolts securing engine lift bracket to the engine.
  6. Remove the engine lift bracket from the engine.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 954203 Size: SH
  1. Position the engine lift bracket to the engine.

    2. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  2. Install the bolts securing engine lift bracket to the engine.

    3. Tighten

    1. Tighten the engine lift bracket bolts in sequence to 5 N·m (44 lb in).
    2. Tighten the engine lift bracket bolts in sequence to 50 N·m (37 lb ft).
  3. Position the generator to the engine.

    4. Object Number: 1313647 Size: SH
  4. Install the generator mounting bolts.

    5. Tighten
    Tighten the generator mounting bolts in sequence to 50 N·m (37 lb ft).


    Object Number: 1350738 Size: SH
  5. Engage the engine wiring harness conduit (4) to the engine lift bracket (1).
  6. Install the bolt (3) securing the A/C compressor hose/pipe bracket (2) to the engine lift bracket (1).

    7. Tighten
    Tighten the A/C compressor hose/pipe bracket bolt to 9 N·m (80 lb in).

  7. Install the drive belt. Refer to Drive Belt Replacement .
