Preliminary Procedures

1. Disable the SIR system. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling.
2. Remove the front floor console. Refer to the appropriate procedure:

•	With front floor console speaker, refer to Front Floor Console Replacement.

•	Without front floor console speaker, refer to Front Floor Console Extension Panel Replacement - Right Side.

3. Remove HVAC floor duct.

1. Position carpet in order to access sensor.
2. Disconnect the electrical connectors.
