Preliminary Procedures

1. Remove the front compartment sight shield. Refer to Front Compartment Sight Shields Replacement.
2. Remove the front wheelhouse front liner. Refer to Front Wheelhouse Front Liner Replacement.

Front Bumper Fascia Push-Pin (Qty: 4)

Front Bumper Fascia Screw (Qty: 2)

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

Tighten
10 N·m (89 lb in)

Front Bumper Fascia Fender Tab

Tip
Carefully push a small nylon wedge between the fascia and the fender. Insert a small flat-bladed tool into the fascia slot and depress the tabs one at a time and pull on the fascia at the same time to gradually remove the fascia from the fender.

Front Bumper Fascia Headlamp Bracket

Tip
Carefully push a small nylon wedge between the fascia and the fender. Insert a small flat-bladed tool into the fascia slot and depress the tabs one at a time and pull on the fascia at the same time to gradually remove the fascia from the headlamp bracket.

Procedure

Preliminary Procedures

1. Remove the front compartment sight shields. Refer to Front Compartment Sight Shields Replacement.
2. Remove the front wheelhouse liner. Refer to Front Wheelhouse Front Liner Replacement.

Front Fascia Screw (Qty: 2)

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

Tip
Reach underneath the wheelhouse to access the bolts.

Tighten
2 N·m (18 lb in)

Front Fascia Retainer (Qty: 6)

Front Fascia Bracket Screw (Qty: 2)

Tighten
2 N·m (18 lb in)

Front Fascia

Procedure

1. Drill out the license plate bracket rivets, if equipped.
2. Disconnect any electrical connectors.
3. Transfer parts as needed.
4. Pull forward to remove the front bumper fascia.

Preliminary Procedures

1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle.
2. Remove the front compartment sight shield. Refer to Front Compartment Sight Shields Replacement.
3. Remove the front wheelhouse liner. Refer to Front Wheelhouse Front Liner Replacement.

Front Fascia Bolt (Qty: 16)

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

Tighten
2 N·m (18 lb in)

Procedure

1. Drill out the license plate bracket rivets, if equipped.
2. Disconnect any electrical connectors.
3. Transfer components as necessary.
4. Pull forward to remove the front bumper fascia.
