Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 1860428 Size: SH
  1. Remove the engine mount strut and bracket. Refer to Engine Mount Strut Replacement - Right Side and Engine Mount Strut Bracket Replacement - Right Side.
  2. Disconnect the engine wiring harness electrical connector (1) from the bank 1 intake camshaft position (CMP) sensor (2).

    3. Object Number: 1860459 Size: SH
  3. Remove the CMP sensor bolt and sensor (2).

Installation Procedure

    Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 1860459 Size: SH
  1. Install the CMP sensor (2) and bolt.

    2. Tighten
    Tighten the bolt to 10 N·m (89 lb in).

  2. Connect the engine wiring harness electrical connector (1) to the bank 1 intake CMP sensor (2).
  3. Install the engine mount strut and bracket. Refer to Engine Mount Strut Replacement - Right Side and Engine Mount Strut Bracket Replacement - Right Side.
