Preliminary Procedures

1. Disconnect the battery. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection .
2. Remove the junction block cover.

Battery Positive Cable to Junction Block Nut

Procedure

Disconnect the battery positive cable from the junction block by removing the nut.

Junction Block Bolt (Qty: 2)

Procedure

Turn the bolt until an audible sound is heard and ENSURE the location of tabs are drawn up flush with the fuse center top surface.

Underhood Electrical Center or Junction Block

Procedure

1. Upon installation of the upper fuse box, ensure the 2 orange indicators are visible to have a proper installation of the lower connector to the upper fuse box.
2. Use a hook-like tool to disengage the 7 tabs.
3. Disconnect any electrical connectors
4. Transfer components as necessary.
